MTB TRAILRADAR - PRIVACY POLICY Last updated: October 10, 2026 MTB TrailRadar respects your privacy and is designed to minimize the collection and transmission of personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the MTB TrailRadar application. 1. Who We Are MTB TrailRadar is operated by: VIDA LILIANA Operating under the name FurboTech Labs Italian sole proprietor Business address (tax domicile): Via Cormons 26, Corona, Mariano del Friuli (GO), Italy Email: support@furbotechlabs.com For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, the person or entity identified above is the data controller for any personal information received directly through support communications. 2. Summary MTB TrailRadar: - does not require an account; - does not include third-party advertising; - does not use third-party behavioral analytics or tracking SDKs; - does not sell personal information; - does not create advertising profiles; - stores user-created app content locally on the user's device; - uses location only when the user grants permission; - uses third-party services only when necessary to provide app functionality. Most information processed by MTB TrailRadar remains on the user's device and is not accessible to the developer. 3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device Users may create and manage information such as: - bikes and other vehicles; - maintenance records; - ride logs; - replacement-part inventories; - checklist selections; - suspension settings; - personal trail areas; - favourite trail areas; - notes; - app preferences; - reminder dates, riding hours and distances. This information is stored locally within the application's storage area on the user's device. MTB TrailRadar does not operate a user-account system or a dedicated backend database containing this information. The developer cannot remotely view, recover or delete locally stored content. Local data remains on the device until: - the user deletes it within the app, where deletion controls are available; - the user deletes the app; - the device is erased or restored; - the operating system removes the data. Some app data may be included in device backups managed by Apple, depending on the user's device and iCloud backup settings. Those backups are controlled by Apple and by the user. 4. Location Information MTB TrailRadar may request access to the device's location in order to: - identify nearby trail areas; - calculate distances between the user and trail areas; - center the map around the user's approximate position; - select or refresh relevant trail-condition information. Location access is optional and is used only after the user grants permission through Apple's system permission interface. Location information is primarily processed on the device. MTB TrailRadar does not use location information for advertising, tracking or profiling. When weather information is requested, coordinates associated with the selected trail area may be sent to Apple WeatherKit to return weather information for that area. Depending on the selected feature, the trail area may be near the user. No movement history is sent to a developer-operated server. MTB TrailRadar does not intentionally store the user's movement history on developer-operated servers. Users can revoke location permission at any time through: Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > MTB TrailRadar The app may continue to provide limited functionality without location access by allowing the user to browse or select trail areas manually, where supported. 5. Weather and Trail Information MTB TrailRadar uses weather data and trail characteristics to estimate trail conditions and provide riding-related information. To obtain weather information, the app may transmit: - the latitude and longitude of the requested trail area; - the date or forecast period required; - technical information normally transmitted as part of an internet request, such as an IP address. MTB TrailRadar requests weather data through Apple WeatherKit. Apple processes WeatherKit requests according to its applicable terms and privacy notices. The app also uses Apple reverse-geocoding services to resolve the requested trail area’s time zone and may download the Apple Weather attribution mark from an Apple-provided HTTPS address. A request includes the selected trail-area coordinates and normal technical connection information, which may include an IP address. Weather information may be reused temporarily in app memory while valid; the app does not maintain a developer-operated weather-data backend. MTB TrailRadar does not guarantee that weather information or trail-condition estimates are complete, current or error-free. TrailRadar scores and recommendations are informational estimates. Users remain responsible for verifying local conditions, trail closures, access restrictions, weather warnings and personal safety before riding. 6. Maps and Apple Services MTB TrailRadar may use Apple technologies and services including: - MapKit; - Apple Maps and WeatherKit; - Core Location; - StoreKit; - local notifications; - App Store distribution and purchase services. Information processed directly by Apple is governed by Apple's privacy policies and applicable terms. MTB TrailRadar does not receive the user's complete payment-card details from Apple. 7. Premium Subscriptions and Purchases Premium subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes: - payment information; - billing; - subscription eligibility; - introductory-offer eligibility, if Apple offers are actually configured; - renewals; - cancellations; - refunds. MTB TrailRadar uses verified StoreKit transaction and entitlement information to determine whether Premium access is active, expired or eligible for restoration. Separately, verified AppTransaction information may establish an app-controlled Radar access window of 168 hours from the original app purchase date. This window is not a paid subscription or an Apple introductory offer and does not trigger an automatic charge when it ends. Purchase-entitlement information may be processed locally on the device through StoreKit. MTB TrailRadar does not operate an independent payment system and does not store payment-card information. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions through their Apple Account subscription settings. 8. Analytics, Advertising and Tracking MTB TrailRadar does not currently integrate third-party advertising networks, behavioral analytics platforms or cross-app tracking technologies. The app does not use information to: - display targeted advertising; - track users across apps or websites; - create advertising profiles; - sell or rent personal information; - share personal information with data brokers. Apple may independently provide developers with aggregated App Store sales, usage, performance or diagnostic information when users have enabled the relevant Apple settings. Information collected independently by Apple is governed by Apple's privacy practices. If analytics or diagnostic services are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before those services are used. 9. Notifications MTB TrailRadar may request permission to send local notifications for maintenance reminders and other user-selected reminders. Notification scheduling is performed locally on the device using information entered by the user. MTB TrailRadar does not use notifications for advertising, behavioral tracking or the creation of user profiles. Users can disable notifications at any time through: Settings > Notifications > MTB TrailRadar 10. Support and Feedback Users may voluntarily contact MTB TrailRadar through the in-app Support form. The form prepares an email addressed to support@furbotechlabs.com with the selected category, title, message and an optional reply email address. If the user selects an image, a JPEG copy may be attached. The user decides whether to send the message through the Apple-provided mail composer. If email composition is unavailable, the app copies the prepared message text to the device clipboard and displays a notice; it does not send the message automatically. When a user contacts support, the developer may receive information voluntarily included in the communication, such as: - the user's email address; - the user's name, when included by the user or email provider; - the message content; - technical details voluntarily provided by the user; - screenshots or attachments selected by the user. This information is used only to: - respond to the request; - investigate reported problems; - provide support; - improve the application; - maintain necessary records relating to the communication. Support communications, including email addresses, message content and any attachments voluntarily provided, are retained for a maximum of 12 months after the support request is closed. They are then deleted, unless longer retention is necessary to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The support mailbox is reviewed periodically to apply this retention rule. Users may request deletion of their support communications by contacting: support@furbotechlabs.com Some information may be retained when required by law or when necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. 11. Legal Bases for Processing Where the European Union General Data Protection Regulation or similar laws apply, personal information may be processed on the following legal bases: - Performance of a contract: where necessary to deliver requested app functionality such as weather features, and to manage verified Premium entitlements; - Legitimate interests: to respond to support requests, maintain app security and investigate technical problems; - Legal obligations: where information must be retained or disclosed under applicable law. Access to location and notification features is optional and can be disabled in iOS settings. An iOS device permission does not, by itself, constitute consent under the GDPR for other processing. Where a specific activity relies on consent, consent may be withdrawn without affecting lawful processing carried out before withdrawal. 12. Data Sharing MTB TrailRadar does not sell or rent personal information. Limited technical information may be processed by service providers only when necessary to provide the requested functionality, including: - Apple, for App Store distribution, StoreKit purchases, maps, location permissions and operating-system services; - Apple WeatherKit, for weather requests associated with requested trail-area coordinates; - email or support providers, when the user voluntarily contacts support; - website-hosting providers, when the user visits the public Privacy Policy or support website. These providers operate under their own privacy policies and applicable data-protection obligations. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to: - comply with a legal obligation; - respond to a lawful request from a competent authority; - protect the rights, safety or security of users, the developer or others; - investigate fraud, abuse or security incidents; - establish, exercise or defend legal claims. 13. Data Retention and Deletion User-created app content stored locally remains on the device until it is deleted by the user, removed with the application or erased through device-management actions. Because MTB TrailRadar does not maintain user accounts or a server database of user-created content, the developer normally has no remote copy to delete. Users can remove locally stored information by: - using available deletion controls inside the app; - removing personal records individually; - deleting MTB TrailRadar from the device. Support communications and other information voluntarily sent to the developer are retained according to Section 10. 14. Data Security MTB TrailRadar uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed through the app. Local app data is protected by the security mechanisms provided by iOS and the user's device. However, no device, electronic storage system or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate device security, passcodes and backups. 15. International Data Processing Some third-party service providers, including Apple, weather providers, email providers and website-hosting providers, may process information in countries other than the user's country of residence. Where required, such processing is subject to applicable data-protection safeguards and the provider's own privacy terms. 16. Children's Privacy MTB TrailRadar is a general mountain-biking utility and is not specifically directed to children. The app does not require an account and does not intentionally request a child's name, contact details or other personal information. If the developer becomes aware that personal information from a child has been received through a support communication without the required authorization, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it. Parents or guardians may contact support@furbotechlabs.com regarding such information. 17. User Rights Depending on the user's location, applicable law may provide rights regarding personal information, including the right to: - request access; - request correction; - request deletion; - restrict or object to processing; - withdraw consent; - request data portability; - lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority. Because most MTB TrailRadar data is stored exclusively on the device, these rights can generally be exercised directly by editing or deleting the information inside the app or deleting the application. Requests concerning information sent directly to the developer may be submitted to: support@furbotechlabs.com The developer may need to verify the requester's identity before responding. Users in the European Economic Area may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. In Italy, the competent authority is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. 18. Third-Party Links MTB TrailRadar may contain links that open third-party websites, map applications, tutorial resources or email services. If you choose Apple Maps or Google Maps for navigation, the selected area’s destination coordinates are passed to that service. If Google Maps is unavailable, the app can open its website. If you choose to share an area, the system share sheet prepares its name, description, coordinates, Apple Maps link and a generated card for the destination you select. These actions do not automatically send your local Garage or Checklist records to the developer. The developer does not control the privacy practices, availability or content of those external services. Users should review the privacy policy of each third-party service they choose to use. 19. Changes to This Privacy Policy This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect: - changes to the application; - new or modified service providers; - changes to data-processing practices; - legal or regulatory requirements; - App Store requirements. The updated version will be made available through the app, the App Store listing or the official MTB TrailRadar website. The "Last updated" date at the beginning of this document indicates when this policy was last revised. 20.
